“The buzz is heating up over who will be playing opposite Malayalam superstar Mammootty on the big screen. It’s not about any real-life romantic endeavors, but rather the on-screen ones. In the past, Mammootty has been paired with Sumalatha, Suhasini, Shobhana, Saritha, Seema, and others, but the latest addition to the list is actress Lakshmi Rai. Following the success of “”To Harihar Nagar,”” she has become much sought after. This will be the third time Rai will be working with Mammootty, after “”Annan Thambi”” and “”Parunthu.””
Directed by Shafi and produced by Anto Joseph, “”Chattambinadu”” will start filming in Pollachi and is set to release during the Christmas season this year.
