Mammootty and Mamta bags Mathrubhumi Awards

Superstar Mammootty and Mamta Mohandas have been selected as the “Best Actor” and “Best Actress,” respectively, in the Mathrubhumi-Kalyan Silks Chalachitra Award. Mammootty was selected for his role in “Pranchiyettan and the Saint,” while Mamta was chosen for her role in “Katha Thudarunnu.” Renjith has been selected as the “Best Director.” Other winners include lyricist Rafeeq Ahamed, music director M Jayachandran, playback singer Vijay Yesudas, and playback singer Shreya Ghoshal. Innocent received a special award for his roles in “Katha Thudarunnu” and “Pranchiyettan and the Saint.” The awards will be presented on April 3 in Thrissur.
