Mammootty adds glitz to Congress(S) Founding Day

The news of superstar Mammootty attending the ‘Founding Day’ of Congress (S) increased the anxiety of the party workers who waited patiently to have a glimpse of the superstar here on Sunday.
The young and the old cemented their eyes on the entrance of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, TD Road. Soon, emerged the star flanked by Ramachandran Kadannappally the chief of the party. Mammootty walked in glory to the hall as people rose to their feet to welcome him with a thunderous applause. Kadannappally gave a brief speech thanking Mammootty for taking time off his busy schedule to attend the meet.He said Mammootty and he shared a special relationship and they called each other ‘Chetta’. Kadanappally then led the actor to the table where the cake was kept and together they held the knife and cut the cake. Mammootty offered a piece to Kadannappally. The actor then moved to the podium and there came a wide applause. Much to the disappointment of the gathering, the actor just thanked the party chief and wished the party success in future and took leave.
